![]() My work draws on experience of traditional photography principles but increasingly I use digital techniques which present new opportunities both in the approach to photographing and in improvements in circulation and reproduction. I have a keen interest in what works as an image while always on the search for fresh ideas. The final image is what counts so when commissioned I take responsibility for all aspects of editing and preparation for specific uses such as publication. I enjoy photographing different subject matter, sometimes finding the best results where they are least expected. My own images can be purchased as digital files or as fine prints. Below are 3 specialist areas in which I have worked over the past 15 years.
![]() My landscape subjects range from small gardens to large urban schemes. I seek to capture broad views, human involvement, and details which offer a more engaging connection to the space. I have worked on important ecological projects, for example recording changes and events in River Regeneration Schemes on the River Kennet in Wiltshire. |
![]() I photograph all types of architecture, aiming to produce a series of images which illustrate important design features, both interior and exterior, and express the purpose and inspirational qualities of the subject. I also collaborate on long-term projects where I record work-in-progress, conservation and finished work. |
![]() I support artists and galleries in showing their work in the best possible way. Drawing on my experience of photographing different materials and media, I aim to provide accurate representations of individual works of art and interesting interpretations of installations and gallery spaces.
